Recent Activity
We are currently focused on a family with six children. Five of then are in the children's home, because the parents Anca and Stefan are unemployed. They don't have the resources for living. During the summer Stefan is working by the hour for the people in the area but during the winter this is not possible. They are taking care of their six weeks old baby.
In order for the family to be reunited, at least for Christmas, we made an appeal to the authorities and they permitted all the children to come home for the winter holidays. We provided transportation, clothing and food for the family for the whole period.
Because Stefan was left without any job and so without any income for the winter he was employed by the workshop of Hope Carriers Trust in Romania for the winter period.
In the begining of March he found a better paid job so he moved on. The family is still receiving all support they need in relations with the athorities and for any of their needs. Also we are encourajing them to become self sufficient and we now can see some progress in them.
As the time is passing we are trying to grow up the family social status so they will be able to receive the children for the summer. The school ends in Romania around 15 of june and they are starting again in 15 of september. At this moment they have a big need in two bunk beds and some more clothing and shoes for all the kids that will be provided from the shop in Osorhei for free. In the time left we need to do a big clean up and a lot of repaintig of the house they are renting.
